John Head

John B. Head
John was born on April 13, 1932. He worked as a Civilian Employee of the US Govt. until he retired. He married his bride Fuymko, 48 years ago. She has survived him.

He died March 25, 2008. A long time member of the Union Church in Bethel, ME. his family buried him in their cemetery.

John and his wife ran John B. Head inc. until his death. They specialized in Jananese Stamps and Postal history and the Ryukyus, with John in Business for almost 50 years.

He was a long time member of the Ryukyus Postal History Society.

John was always a gentleman and a real pleasure to deal with. In his later years he did mostly mail order, but would show up at The Sarasota National Stamp show every year. Those of us who knew him will miss his visits and friendship.
